Receive an incoming wire transfer

To receive money in your UNFCU account from another financial institution, provide the following information to the sender:

  • UNFCU’s ABA number: 226078609
    • If the financial institution sending the money requires a SWIFT code or BIC:
      • UNFCU does not have a SWIFT code because UNFCU is not directly connected to the SWIFT network.
      • UNFCU's registered BIC is UNUNUS31. This code can be used for identification purposes only. Payments with only a BIC will not be delivered to UNFCU.
  • Your full name
  • Your UNFCU account number without dashes or spaces (you do not need to provide your member number)
  • The purpose of the wire
  • UNFCU’s address:
    • Court Square Place, 24-01 44th Road, Long Island City, NY 11101 USA

UNFCU does not charge for money you receive via incoming wire transfers. UNFCU's ABA number and your account number must be included for UNFCU to receive the transfer.

If you want to send euros (EUR) or pounds sterling (GBP) to your UNFCU account, a foreign currency transfer may be your best option.

Quick tip

UNFCU can only accept deposits in USD. Any transfers sent in another currency must be converted to USD. The conversion will be done either by the financial institution sending the money, or by their partners involved in the transfer. They may apply a fee for the conversion.
