Investment options available to UNFCU members:
Members residing in the US: US citizens, G-4 visa holders, and US permanent residents living in the United States can access investment services from Copper Financial Network, LLC (CuFi). The investment services include:
- Managed investment portfolios: Portfolios are actively managed by professional money managers selected by CuFi. The fee for this investment advice is typically based on a percentage of the value of the assets being managed.
- Brokerage accounts: You buy and sell individual securities such as stocks, bonds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). These securities are in an account held with CuFi. CuFi typically charges a brokerage commission or other transaction fee for each transaction executed.
Members residing outside the US: If you are not a US citizen and you are not a US permanent resident, you can access:
- Managed investment portfolios: Portfolios are actively managed by professional money managers selected by an independent financial advisor. The fee for this investment advice is typically based on a percentage of the value of the assets being managed.
- Brokerage accounts: You buy and sell individual securities such as stocks, bonds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). These securities are in an account held with Copper Financial Network, LLC (CuFi). CuFi typically charges a brokerage commission or other transaction fee for each transaction executed.
